M-Climb

El Paso Corporation is a proud sponsor of the Colorado School of Mines M-Climb, an annual tradition for incoming freshmen. Allowing freshmen to bond and establish long-lasting relationships with their classmates, this tradition requires students to carry a 10 lb rock to the top of Mt. Zion in Golden, CO and leave their rock on the large “M” overlooking the school. El Paso provided the celebratory lunch at the end of their climb.
