Volunteerism
 At
El Paso, we believe that volunteerism is an important element of
our community service program, and our employees recognize that.
In 2007, our employees donated approximately 10,000
hours of service to various community and charitable events.
Our volunteer efforts are spearheaded by our Sharing Team El Paso
program, or STEP.
STEP Program
 As
a corporation, El Paso has always encouraged employee involvement
in the community. Through active participation in a variety of organizations
and programs, El Paso volunteers help us have an impact on global
problems through local action. The STEP – Sharing Team El
Paso – Volunteer Initiative Program gives us a chance to help others
while increasing the company's presence
in the community.
Company volunteers are involved with many organizations, including
the American Red Cross, Goodwill Industries, Habitat for Humanity,
Junior Achievement, March of Dimes and United Way.
